A one night only Jazz experience
About This Event
An Evening of Jazz, Soul and Musical DiscoveryWhen four accomplished musicians meet on one stage, the result is never entirely predictable. On Saturday, 21 November, George audiences will have the opportunity to experience this musical conversation when jazz vocalist and songwriter Elrine Lottino brings her distinctive voice and creative approach to The Market Community Theatre.Known for her soulful voice, creative interpretations and warm stage presence, Lottino brings a versatile approach to jazz, with an emphasis on improvisation and musical interaction. For this performance, she will be joined by pianist Ramon Alexander, drummer Annemie Nel and bassist Renaldo Hendriks. All three are established South African jazz musicians with experience performing on stages both locally and internationally. Their collective musicianship provides a strong rhythmic and harmonic foundation for Lottino’s vocals, allowing the quartet to explore the interplay and spontaneity at the heart of jazz. The performance begins at 18:30, with the theatre opening from 17:30. The iCan Chill food truck will be on site offering mocktails, coffees and snacks, giving audiences an opportunity to arrive early and enjoy the informal atmosphere before the concert.Tickets are R150 per person and are available through Quicket. A limited number will also be available at the door. For more information, contact Heather on 072 369 3304.
