Discover Mel Bonis’s charming “Gai Printemps\,” then let the clarinet find its blues\, klezmer and Latin soul in works by Mangani\, Kovács and Paquito D’Rivera. There’s Malcolm Arnold’s swaggering Sonatina\, and Hendrik Hofmeyr’s sombre Canto Notturno from South Africa’s own composing voice.Classical\, jazz\, klezmer and more\, all in one programme. Join us at 6.30 before the concert for a glass of complimentary bubbles to celebrate the year.
