TEDxUCT 2026 Main Event

On 23 October 2026, TEDxUCT returns for its main event, bringing together bold thinkers, compelling storytellers, and inspiring voices under the theme “The Elephant in the Room: What Are We Avoiding?”Every society, community, and individual has an elephant in the room; the uncomfortable truths we overlook, the difficult questions we hesitate to ask, and the conversations we would rather postpone. But what happens when we finally confront them? This year, our speakers will explore a diverse range of topics, challenging conventional thinking, questioning accepted narratives, and shedding light on the issues we too often leave unspoken. From personal experiences to broader societal challenges, each talk offers a fresh perspective on the things we avoid and why they deserve our attention.Expect an experience filled with thought-provoking ideas, powerful stories, unexpected perspectives, and conversations that extend far beyond the stage.Because sometimes, the most important conversations are the ones we're not having.Join us for TEDxUCT 2026, where we make room for the conversations that matter.Date: Friday, 23 October 2026Starting Time: 17:00Theme: The Elephant in the Room: What Are We Avoiding?Ideas worth spreading.
