SUMMARY:FIRST DRAFTS
DESCRIPTION:First Drafts is a curated storytelling experience where artists\, writers\, poets\, musicians\, members of the public and thinkers share work in its most honest form. It is a space that celebrates vulnerability\, creativity\, and conversation by giving people permission to present ideas that are still becoming. Unlike traditional open mics\, every edition is intentionally curated to create a cohesive experience that leaves audiences inspired\, challenged\, and connected. The name First Drafts comes from the belief that:Every masterpiece started as a first draft.Every person is a work in progress.Stories do not have to be finished to be worth telling. It embraces imperfection as the birthplace of excellence. The ExperienceFirst Drafts isn't simply a sequence of performances. It is designed like a live narrative. Each event includes:Curated poetryStorytellingSpoken wordLive musicConversations with featured guestsAudience participation where appropriateBeautiful visual branding and intentional atmosphereRather than asking "Who's performing?"\, the audience asks\, "What's the story tonight?"
