AfriPaw Half Marathon 2026

The popular but exclusive AfriPaw Half Marathon is back! This year, we are extending the invitation to 199 runners / walkers only. We are asking you to lace up and run / walk for a reason in aid of Vrygrond people and their pets. The run takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 from 6.15am. The starting point is the Fish Hoek Beach Sports Club and the scenic route takes you all along the coast towards Fisherman's beach, which is about 1km past Simon's town country club and back. Water stations will be available. If you would like to participate but the full distance is too far, you will be allowed to run / walk 10.55kms together as a team of 2, turning around at the 5.28km mark, as long as you finish within 3 hours. Entry fee is R350 per person (R700 for a team of 2) and includes refreshments at the various stations, a branded First Ascent race t-shirt, special race pack, breakfast roll and hot drink at the end of the run as well as fabulous prizes for the top three Finishers (in each category) and Fundraisers. By signing up, you agree to personally raise a minimum of R1500 (R3000 for a team of 2) towards our overall goal of R298 500. The fundraising platforms will be provided.
